“Chicago Bulls suffer humiliation after Torrey Craig self alley-oop attempt goes wrong”

During a basketball game between the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks, chaos ensued when the Bulls tried to execute a fast break. With an opportunity to score a point, the Bulls ended up making a humiliating mistake.

Torrey Craig, who was leading the play, attempted to get fancy by throwing an alley-oop to himself off the backboard. However, Andre Drummond, the Bulls’ center, misunderstood the pass and also jumped up for the ball.

This caused both players to collide midair and miss the dunk, leading to a turnover for the Bulls. At the time, the Bulls were losing by nine points, which made Craig’s decision to attempt such a risky move questionable. To add to their woes, Drummond later left the game due to an ankle injury he sustained on the following play and had to be taken to the locker room in a wheelchair.
