“D’Angelo Russell and Chandler Parsons Open Up About Their Experiences with Public Humiliation in the NBA”

D’Angelo Russell recently talked about how he has been affected by “public humiliation”. He said during a postgame interview that this experience has actually helped him become more confident and unafraid of confrontation.

He added, “I want all the smoke. I want to talk about it.” On FanDuel’s Run It Back program, former NBA player Chandler Parsons reacted to Russell’s comments by sharing his own experience of being publicly humiliated during his time with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Parsons said that he was humiliated every day, and this made him closed off and cold. He said it was hard to trust people, even fans who wanted to take pictures with him. He understood what Russell was going through and sympathized with him.
