“Isaiah Thomas to Sign 10-Day Contract with Phoenix Suns”

Isaiah Thomas, a two-time NBA All-Star who previously played for Boston Celtics is set to sign a 10-day contract with the team Phoenix Suns.

Thomas most recently played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, and Dallas Mavericks in the 2021-22 season, averaging 8.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 40.1% from the field and 33.7% from three-point range.

Thomas had been playing for the Salt Lake City Stars, the G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, where he scored 30+ points in all four games with the team.

He has played in the NBA for 11 seasons, for teams including the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks.

The Suns are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference, with a 39-28 record in 67 games. They have won six out of their last ten games and are set to play the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday afternoon in Wisconsin.
