Ryan Garcia Upsets Devin Haney with Three Knockdowns still not the Champion

Ryan Garcia delivered a shocking upset over boxing champion Devin Haney, knocking him down three times during their intense match. The two faced off at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center, battling for 12 rounds in a high-stakes bout.

Despite Haney being the WBC junior lightweight title holder, Garcia proved his prowess by delivering powerful blows that dropped Haney to the canvas multiple times. The first knockdown came in the 7th round, followed by another in the 10th, and a third in the 11th round, all from Garcia’s left hook.

Garcia ultimately won the majority decision, with his consistent performance earning him a well-deserved victory.

Despite Garcia’s win, Haney retained his title because Garcia failed to make weight before the fight, disqualifying him from winning the belt. Nonetheless, the fight went ahead, showcasing Garcia’s incredible skill and determination.
