Family of Sexual Abusers Faces Sentencing for Over 100 Counts of Assault and Rape

The sentence for more than 100 counts of rape and sexual assault against four members of the family will be given to a father and his three kids the following month.

The mother of the other three men as well as the wife of the oldest guy will also receive a term for assault and aiding one of her sons in covering up the rape of her granddaughter.

The victims testified before the court that the family members, whom they referred to as monsters, had destroyed their lives.

The jury’s guilty convictions were rejected by the condemned individuals, who are all traveling and are members of an extended family.

The court heard victim impact statements from the two males and two women who were sexually assaulted and maltreated by their cousins, uncles, and grandfathers when they were young.

They were between the ages of seven and seventeen when the crimes were committed between 1999 and 2004.

The 66-year-old oldest man convicted of raping and abusing two of his daughters is already serving a 16-year sentence.

He is the oldest kid of his daughter. She testified in this case that starting around the age of 12, three of her brothers had been abusing and raping her three to four times a week.

Victims share their harrowing stories in court

She said in her statement that she would never feel safe or have a normal life as a result of what they had done to her.

The man’s granddaughter claimed that she had been sexually assaulted by him twice as well as by two of his sons. One of the rapes was covered up with help from her grandma.

This woman said in her victim impact statement that her youth and innocence had been taken from her.

She claimed that she had experienced constant dread and yearned for a typical calm existence with her own family.

The eldest man abused one of the men when he was a youngster, and that man’s victim said there are no words to adequately express the suffering that man caused him.

He questioned whether he would have abandoned him if he had fought back with enough vigour and noted that it took him many years to discover he was too young to do so.

The other boy referred to the family as monsters. He claimed he had no formative years.

Additionally, he claimed that in order to give his kids the chance to live the life he was unable to, he made sure they attended school and received an education.

All of the victims claimed they had been malnourished, mistreated, and deprived of the opportunity to attend school.

The males who were found guilty each have more than 500 convictions between them, but the woman has never been found guilty.

Additionally, she admitted to probation officers that her spouse had abused her both physically and sexually.

They all reject the jury’s determinations of guilt.

According to Judge Mary Ellen Ring, sexual assault haunts victims for the rest of their lives.

The five would be sentenced the following month, she added, adding that she had important matters to ponder.
