Shots were fired at a Mercedes Benz in the western suburbs of Sydney

Police are looking into the possibility that three males were inside the expensive vehicle at the time.

Early this morning at Guildford, neighbours have reported hearing what they believe to be many gunshots.

The officers arrived at approximately 4:15 in the morning and were able to find all three young guys, one of them was the resident of this street and the owner of the car.

According to the statements made by the police, one of the bullets smashed the window on the driver’s side and perforated the window on the passenger’s side.

The three males didn’t sustain any injuries during the fight.

The entire incident took place just a few metres away from residential areas.

In the immediate aftermath of the incident, the area around the vehicle was designated as a crime scene.

The owner of the Mercedes, a 19-year-old male, was taken into custody by the police after they say he attempted to tamper with evidence that was located in a neighbouring residence.

Officers have reported that the two companions who were with the suspect at the time of the shooting have refused to cooperate with the investigation into the shooting.

Now that the investigation has progressed to this point, the investigators have taken possession of all three men’s clothing in an effort to pinpoint their precise whereabouts at the time of the shooting.
