Steph Curry and Sabrina Lonescu Set for 3-Point Contest Faceoff!”

Get ready for some serious basketball fun because NBA All-Star Weekend just got a whole lot more exciting!

NBA is bringing us a special showdown called the “Battle of the Sexes: NBA Edition.” Two basketball stars, Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu, will face off in a three-point shootout. It’s like a shooting contest from beyond the arc!

When and Where: Mark your calendars for February 17, and it’s all happening at Lucas Oil Stadium. That’s where the action will unfold during the All-Star Weekend.

The Shootout Details: Curry, a seasoned three-point champ from the Golden State Warriors, will shoot from the NBA three-point line. On the other side, Ionescu, a guard for the New York Liberty, will take her shots from the WNBA three-point line. They’ll even be using their own league’s game balls for the contest.

Why This Happened: This whole idea came up when Ionescu made an impressive 37 out of 40 points in the WNBA’s three-point contest last summer. Curry saw it and said, “I think I gotta bring her out. We gotta settle this once and for all.”

Bragging Rights and Good Cause: It’s not just for show. Bragging rights are definitely on the line, but here’s the cool part – every shot they make will turn into a donation for the NBA Foundation, helping Black communities. Curry’s charity, Eat.Learn.Play, and Ionescu’s SI20 Foundation will also get donations.
