Man Finds a Tiny Kitten in a Forest, But It’s Not What It Seems!
Mathieu Patry saw something moving near the trail he was going on one day while he was on his bike. He went to look into the sounds that he thought came from a bush nearby. He tracked down the sound and found a tiny kitten that didn’t look like any other kitten he had seen. He couldn’t even think about what would happen next, though.
Mathieu saw that the kitten wasn’t a normal house cat when he looked more closely. He says, “It kind of looked like a lynx.” “His tail, ears, and eyes were all too different.”

Mathieu thought about leaving the cat behind for a while but finally chose to go ahead with it. He thought that the baby’s mother would show up soon and look for her. He left home, but the thought of it kept coming back to him.
He went back to where he left the baby lynx first thing in the morning and found it still there by itself! It was clear that mommy hadn’t come back, so Mathieu took it home and made a cute new friend.
They called the zoo and asked for help because they didn’t know how to take care of a wild animal. He learned from the staff how to feed and care for the lynx baby properly.
Mathieu took the little cat to the caretakers the next day. They told him it wasn’t really a baby after all. It was so small because it had to work hard to find food and stay alive in the wild. But now that he’s with the right people, he can catch up. The zoo will take care of the kitten and then let it go into the wild when it’s ready.
We hope that the cute baby lynx finds happiness in the wild when it gets better.
