Why Pawnstars Corey Harrison Arrested?

Las Vegas, USA – After being pulled over in his hometown of Las Vegas on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, one of the stars of the long-running reality series Pawn stars is now facing a charge of drunken driving.

According to TMZ, Corey Harrison, 40, was pulled over by police early on Friday morning, not long after returning to Nevada from a trip to Minnesota. Corey Harrison had just spent the previous week in Minnesota. Officers claim that he swerved his vehicle while driving during a stop at one of the Las Vegas sites that he runs for vacation rentals for short-term guests.

One of the cops who was involved in Harrison’s detention revealed that the reality star admitted to having one drink as he was travelling home about seven hours ago during their talk with Harrison.

Finally, after stepping out of his car to do a field sobriety test, Harrison asked for a breathalyser test, but he said he was denied the request because the apparatus was damaged.

You’ve been arrested! Corey Harrison, 40, the main cast member of Pawn Stars, was detained early Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence in Las Vegas; the reality star is featured here in October of 2018, the incident occurred in the city.

Officers informed Harrison that he had failed the field sobriety test before transporting him to a police station, where they informed him once more that another breath test had been unsuccessful. Harrison was ultimately arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

After that, he was requested to submit to a blood test, with the proviso that if he did not comply, he would most likely be incarcerated for the duration of the entire weekend.

In the end, he agreed to submit to the blood test, and approximately eight hours later, he was let go.

According to information provided by Harrison to TMZ, his driving privileges were not revoked by the authorities, and he was able to walk out of the station with his driving license.

He went on to say that policemen had even volunteered to drive him back to his house after he was detained at the police station.

The History Channel show Pawn Stars follows the goings-on at the famed Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which is run by a family and is open around the clock. The shop first opened its doors in 1989.

At the age of nine, Corey Harrison began working at the pawn shop. He eventually became a main cast member of the series when it debuted on the History Channel in 2009, along with the late family patriarch Richard “Old Man” Harrison, his son Rick Harrison, and Corey’s childhood friend Austin “Chumlee” Russell. Corey Harrison began working at the pawn shop when he was nine years old.

Chumlee (born Austin Lee Russell), who is 40 years old, is portrayed in the series as the comedic foil. He frequently makes himself the punch line of the jokes that others tell about him because of his perceived lack of knowledge and his stupidity.
