On Sunday evening, a man was stabbed in the bus bay area of the Victoria Park Subway Station. This was the second stabbing attack reported at a TTC station in less than 24 hours this weekend. The victim was brought to the hospital.
The male victim, who was in his 50s, was stabbed in the torso and taken to the hospital by emergency personnel.

The assault happened shortly after 7:20 pm on Saturday at the Kipling TTC station, where police were informed that a man had attacked multiple people in the bus bay area near Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street West.
An cop who sustained non-life-threatening injuries was taken to the hospital and is now healing at home. An arrest was made of a suspect.
The 23-year-old Joshua DiFonzo is accused of assault with the intent to cause bodily harm twice, as well as two other offences involving assault and resisting arrest.
